You call from your browser over the internet. The call is placed onto the UK network, so a number that is blocked or charged from abroad connects as if you were dialling from home. No app and no UK SIM card.
It depends on the range you call: €0.99 a minute (about £0.85) for freephone (0800, 0808), and €1.75 a minute (about £1.50) for geographic 01 and 02, the 03 range, 084 and 087 service numbers, UK mobiles and 070. You top up in pounds and the credit is held in euros. Prepaid, no subscription, billed per whole started minute. A call that does not connect is never charged.
Freephone (0800, 0808), geographic landlines (01, 02), the 03 range, 084 and 087 service numbers, UK mobiles (07) and 070 personal numbers. Premium 09 numbers, 118 directory services, 076 pagers and short codes such as 101 or 111 have no international form and are not available. The number directory lists every line we connect today.
No. Losali runs in any modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer. You only need an internet connection and a microphone.
Use a stable Wi-Fi or wired connection and a headset, and allow the microphone when your browser asks. If a call fails, it is not charged, so you can simply try again.
It stays on your account and works for any call: credit is valid for two years from purchase, even if you do not sign in in between, with no subscription and nothing wiped at the end of the month. You are charged for the minutes you actually talk, and a call that does not connect is never charged.
Yes, as long as you have not started using the credit. You have fourteen days to withdraw and be refunded the unused credit; from your first call the service has been performed, so credit already spent is not refundable. Write to contact@losali.com. The detail is in section 7 of the terms.
Payment is handled by Stripe, so your card number never passes through Losali and is not stored on our servers. There is no recurring charge unless you switch on automatic top-up yourself, and you can switch it off at any time.
